Academic director en Capital Federal

Requirements: Master?s degree required, Ph.D. strongly preferred, in a humanities, social science, higher education, or similar field. Two years of work experience in the Spanish-speaking world desirable, and near native English and Spanish fluency required. In-depth knowledge and experience in U.S. higher education and international education required. This position is full-time with a competitive benefits package; salary commensurate with experience. The Academic Director will live on-site and require necessary work permits. Some domestic and international travel is required. Candidate must be flexible with hours worked. Responsibilities will include: Accountable for overseeing and maintaining overall quality of Academic program delivered by host universities; Supervision of curriculum in association with host universities? faculty and administration; On occasion, teaching courses to ISA students; Serving as a liaison regarding Academic matters with the host universities; Work with the ISA Resident Director on managing and collaborating relationship with host university administration; Work with ISA Management in overseeing program development and exploring new potential partner institutions; Work with the Academic Affairs Department of ISA in Austin, TX in developing new curriculum in cooperation with host universities; Ensuring students have adequate tutoring resources and at times, direct tutoring of students; Academic advising of students and addressing their Academic related concerns; Continuing development of clear student learning outcomes and integrating the learning from coursework, homestays, educational visits, and excursions to meet these objectives; Organizing and delivering the students? cross-cultural orientation, promote cross-cultural learning and understanding during the program, and conducting the debriefing session prior to students? departure; Conducting and completing a thorough assessment of the student Academic evaluations at the end of the program; Continuous revision and development of Academic policies.Contrato: Full-timeCompañia: International Studies Abroad
