What are the main activities of a TI Research Analyst? Conduct primary and secondary technology Research Command a comprehensive understanding of technological trends and strategies within specified technologies and the industry Perform a review of patents to become familiar with the major developers and commercial players and their processes Review abstracts to identify key scientific and Technical papers that provide insights into key industry participants and the Technical processes Create detailed questionnaire to address the Research objectives of the study, conduct interviews to obtain greater insight into the relevant issues Review and analyze Research data, add recommendations to the draft of the final study. Having conducted both published studies and custom proprietary Research covering many types of new and emerging technology activities as well as worldwide industry analysis, the management and Research team adds its perspective and experience to provide an accurate, timely analysis Prepare written final reports for each project and present key findings in Analyst briefings to clients Main Requirements: Four year degree in specified industry, Research, business, or economics. Engineering background is desirable. Experience conducting primary and secondary Research Experience in working in specified industry (Chemicals & Materials, Automation & Electronics or Energy preferable) All candidates must have written and verbal fluency in English.
